Organic impression

While it is stiff after it has been molded, BioForm has the soft look of woven fabrics. But it can be designed to show off the marbling of its organic fibers, a nifty bio-aesthetic that designers find well-suited to the tastes of eco-minded customers. As the demand for sustainable goods increases, using BioForm will help communicate a commitment to greener production choices simply by looking like it contains organic material. And Trifilon’s tag on an end product will communicate to consumers that they are making a sustainable choice and that the company is committed to the process of developing and producing sustainable goods.

Hemp power

BioForm replaces nonrenewable feedstocks like fossil derivatives, glass fiber, or chalk. It replaces them with hemp - a plant that gives it material and sustainability advantages over other plastic alternatives. Unlike sugarcane, which in very large amounts can produce a plastic substitute, hemp is very effective at capturing and storing carbon in a process called sequestration. Besides CO2 reduction, the organic ingredients in BioForm help it have negligible VOC emissions and migration, phenomenons linked to health concerns. Trifilon sources its organic content from farmers in the EU, and rolls of BioForm are produced in Sweden. Choosing BioForm as a material in your product means moving production closer to the end consumer. That means less energy used in the production and transportation of your product. And as Trifilon is dedicated to its vision of considering the full life cycle of its products, BioForm is fully recyclable.
